De Gea

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has insisted no deal has been made regarding a move to Manchester United, contrary to reports.

The highly rated de Gea has been the subject of long-term speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.

Reports emerged this week suggesting a transfer had already been finalised between the two clubs, with the move to take place at the end of the season.

But de Gea, 20, maintains he is yet decide on his future and may yet choose to remain with La Liga club Atletico ahead of the English Premier League giants.

I haven t signed anything, de Gea said.

I m happy here and have a contract until 2013, so now the essential target is to get the team into Europe and when the league finishes, we ll see.

Until the end of the season, nothing will be decided.

I ve been with Atletico for many years and have real affection for the club.

If Atletico want to fight for me then it would be very difficult to leave. It is my club forever.

Atletico chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin has confirmed the club has received approaches from United and their Premier League rivals Chelsea.

We ve received offers from both United and Chelsea, while he (de Gea) also has an offer from us to renew his deal, Gil Marin told Cadena SER radio.

We d like him to stay here, but David s future is entirely in his own hands.

De Gea, who joined Atletico as a youth player in 2003, made his full debut in 2009 and has notched up over 50 appearances for the first team.
